Featuring the likes of Willie Nelson, who founded the event in 1985 along with Neil Young, and John Mellencamp to raise awareness about the loss of family farms and to help save them by raising money, this year's event on Saturday, Sept. 22 is set to include an all-star lineup.
Those slated to perform include, of course, Nelson, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp, in addition to Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Kacey Musgraves, and many others.
Dave Matthews joined the concert's board of directors in 2001 and since then, the group has raised more than $53 million, while celebrating, educating and helping farmers.
In addition to the incredible tunes, festivalgoers will also have a chance to sample locally-raised foods and drinks, as well as learn about Connecticut farmers.
